Healing Hands is a community resource center dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, hunger, and poverty. We provide food, clothing, shoes, household items, and furniture to individuals and families in need.

In 2009, Healing Hands began operating out of City Church’s closet and served 50 people in need that year.

Today, we’re located near downtown Bloomington, where we support thousands of individuals annually.

Outreach Event

In 2023, we extended our reach to serve over 17,000 individuals in need. Here’s how we made a difference.

Over 3,000 children received essential school supplies like backpacks, new shoes, clothing, and free haircuts.

We fed 8,612 individuals from our food pantry, ensuring no one in our community went hungry.

We provided essential goods like clothing, shoes, furniture and hygiene products to 17,672 people in need.

Matthew’s Story

I got connected at Healing Hands as a shopper and I became a volunteer. I can honestly say, if it wasn’t for the prayers of the staff and volunteers, I probably wouldn’t be living in my home right now. The best thing about serving at Healing Hands is that I feel closer to God after…

Melissa’s Story

When Melissa and her kids moved to Bloomington 3 years ago, they were seeking shelter and safety from a domestic violence situation. She had nothing but the clothing on her back.
